    Sam Flynn, while looking for his Dad, falls into the Grid earlier than the movie, at age 11. After being caught by Rinzler, Sam mistakes Clu for his Dad, Kevin Flynn. Clu thinks he can manipulate Sam’s User powers by pretending to be Kevin Flynn, so he goes along with this.

    Clu does not know what a child is.

    Meanwhile, Rinzler is dealing with the overwhelming instinct to protect Sam at all costs, and Sam exploring the Grid with no comprehension of danger.

    I view Kevin Flynn, Tron/Rinzler, and Clu as like brothers, so this is basically Sam Flynn getting to hang out with his weird uncles.

    Summary

    Sam, after having nightmares of drowing in the Sea of Simulation, returns to the Grid with one goal in mind: rescuing Tron from where he had sank after that final race to get to the portal.

    He doesn't expect to be given any more reasons to return. He didn't even think he wanted to come back. He wasn't his father, and the Grid wasn't his passion project. He owed it nothing.

    How wrong he ends up being.

    When Sukuna awoke he could tell something had changed. Nothing too drastic, but a change nonetheless.

    The King of Curses made a decision he hopefully won't regret.

    "Just don’t end up dying yourself in the process. Just as I would’ve died today if you hadn’t been there, you’ll see there are plenty of people yet to come that need you, too."

    He'll try to change all of their fates.

    "Because you’re a jujutsu sorcerer now, Itadori-kun."

    Sukuna started to form a plan in his mind.

    Sukuna gains canon memories after Junpei dies and saves all of our favorite characters because he became a big softie. Yuji also may remember a thing here and there and is trying to keep it all together :)

    Or, I'm fixing canon because Gege feeds of off our tears. Shibuya is gonna go crazy and all our faves will be saved. Pinky promise ^^

    Not a one on one retelling, there will be many original scenes and changes

    Currently being re-written (junpei lives), chapter 2 isn't going to change much

    Sukuna keeps his hands folded over his abdomen. Through Yuuji's eyes, everything is misty, clouded with a haze. Perhaps it's because of the wound, the sensation of his hand being cleaved clean off. He wouldn't know.

    All he knows is that his vessel—his vessel—is in pain.

    He leans back in his throne, letting warped flesh cushion the back of his head. He already sees the boy fading in and out of consciousness, body beginning to take shape within the realm of his mind. It's a matter of him trusting Sukuna.

    "Yuuji," Sukuna croons, sweet and honeyed. "I can handle this for you."

    It is not common for a curse to befriend its vessel. Yet, Sukuna and Yuuji are known for being exceptions.
