Summary
Xie Lian was banished from the Heavens a long time ago. He is not a god anymore. He does not have any believers left. He is nothing more than an old tale– or the punchline of a twisted joke.
That's how it should be anyway.
But the world could never be so clear cut. From the ashes, life will bloom. From the sad ending of the first story, another begins. A new tale, a new title, a new sort of faith. Others may not notice the kind man showing up left and right, but those beneath it all do.
If the people say you are a god, then that is what you are. Even if you do not realize it yourself.Or: Xie Lian seeks to help others whenever he can for 800 years. 800 years is more than enough time for said others to notice.

Summary
Some time ago, Xie Lian was (almost certainly) cursed to take the form of a kitten. Defenseless and just as unlucky as he was in his mortal body, he ends up kidnapped by a group of ghosts looking for a good gift to give their Chengzhu for his upcoming birthday. After all, who wouldn’t want a cat that seemingly can’t die?
