Robin puts on a truly atrocious film as an excuse to sprawl, riff, and pretend she’s not watching Nancy inch closer like gravity has a crush. Nancy starts out using Robin’s chest as a pillow “just to rest,” then gets stuck there on purpose, murmuring one of her razor-precise compliments that steals Robin’s jokes right out of her mouth. Robin, equal parts funny, tender, and a little clumsy about logistics, decides to take control. The couch turns into a sanctuary of warmth, consent, and very real noise.
