The Black family and the Potter family grew-up spending their summers at neighboring lake houses a few hours off the East Coast. Then one summer, James Potter stopped coming. Regulus can admit he was a little disappointed when his first crush suddenly disappeared from his life. But it's been seven years. He's clearly over it.
That is until his last summer before starting college, when that same golden-skinned boy steps out of the car, grown and beautiful, and crashes back into Regulus' world.

However
It should have at least an epilogue and it doesn't so it feels like there should be more. But I'm pretty sure this feeling is not only due to a writing issue but because I really loved it and would actually follow these version of events up to the very happy or tragic ending of it all. There characters and the vibes are all there in this. I want to see them succeed and suffer till they get there. The tension in the story and between the characters with their personal drama is SO spot on. It was really good! I missed Lupin's POV in this only because I loved him so much and he was really good in part one. So that's not even a complaint really just another way for me to say I loved it and I wished there was more.
