Lonnie Clarke was talking to a lunatic.
To be fair, that wasn’t really unusual. It was a standard part of police work.
This particular lunatic was a special sort of insane, though. Crazy like a fox, this Mr. Fell. Or, just absurdly lucky.
Clarke was just finishing up with him — confirming his contact information, thanking him for his time, and so on — when an entirely different and more familiar lunatic came swaggering in with their hands cuffed in front of them. “OI! Who sent a rookie to pick me up all by herself? That’s hazing, ‘s what that is. Thought you lot were above all that.”

Summary
In November of 2059, the Doctor finds himself trapped in Bowie Base One, a Mars colony with a terrifying alien virus sweeping through it. Being a time traveler, he is cursed with the knowledge that everyone on the base is doomed to die for the future of humanity. That is, except for an odd man who has joined the crew, one who isn't in any records of the mission or the history books; a stowaway with red hair, strange eyes, and a refusal to tell the crew who he is or where he came from.
The strangest part about this man, however, is that he looks exactly like the Doctor.A retelling of one of my favorite Doctor Who episodes, 'The Waters of Mars', where a post-season-3 Crowley has fallen through universes and ended up in the Doctor's timeline, while our favorite Time Lord is going a little bit insane.

Summary
Rory Williams has chosen to guard the Pandorica for nearly two thousand years. He expects it will be a lonely journey, yet he keeps running into a couple of familiar faces throughout time. Aziraphale and Crowley lend him a hand whenever they can and provide a kind of companionship he can no longer get from short-lived humans. But they're all living on borrowed time as the void where once existed the universe closes in on Earth. Angels and demons aren't God. Rory's occasional companions don't have the power or authority to recreate a universe that never began in the first place. That might be up to the Doctor himself.
Be warned... this is merely self-indulgent storytelling. 😊
