Surprise, another Jackie lives fic! This time, amnesia AU x fake married AU :D
Jackie lives through the wilderness and grows up to exist in the adult timeline with the rest of the surviving Yellowjackets. At Lottie's commune, she suffers a head injury, and as a result she doesn’t remember anything that has happened since before the crash. A chaotic Natalie and a panicking Shauna end up lying to Jackie, telling her that she is actually married to Shauna.
Shauna must try to keep up this lie until Jackie gets her memory back, but what happens when long-buried truths start to come to light?
Meanwhile, Jackie Shipman is just vibing with her beautiful new wife and her cool new daughter. What could go wrong?

“Do you ever think about me?” The question is so out of left field that the shock must be so visible on Shauna’s face that Jackie actually, physically cringes. “Forget I said that.”
“I, uh, I take the train to college every day.” It fumbles from her mouth before she can stop herself, an admission that she hasn’t even told Pete and Jules why she takes it, they just assume she’s lazy as if she doesn’t run every evening and is the only one of them that can make it up the stairs without stopping.
“Ugh, I hate trains. Remember I threw up all over myself when we took the train to New York in eight grade?” Jackie rambles to fill the space, to understand why Shauna said that. Shauna shuts her eyes tight for a second, formulating what to say, but all that comes out is a pathetic:
“Yeah, it’s why I take them.”
“What?”
“The seats are shitty and plastic and it would be cheaper to walk but they remind me of you, because you hate them.” She pauses, running a hand through her hair. “Jackie, did you really think that I’d forget about you?”
(Or after five years, Shauna Shipman finally talks to Jackie Taylor)
