Summary

Summary
Shen Qingqiu reached for a small basin of water and a stained silk handkerchief, its once-simple white design now marred by years of removing his huadian.
It was the same handkerchief he found on Shen Jiu’s vanity when he first transmigrated, as he stressed about what he should do for his face.
It wasn't as stained as it is currently, however, he felt almost… sentimental about it, in a way.
That simple silk was one of the few signs that Shen Jiu had truly lived—had been a person who went through his days teaching his students in his… rather unconventional ways.
Regardless of that oddness, it showed that even through his lens for perfection, he, too, had let himself rub away that façade through his huadian.
