“Never mind that,” Gintoki said, dismissively. “Just cut the tentacle that's tied onto the railing.”
“Okay!” Suddenly, Hijikata’s body stiffened in alarm.
“Hold on a moment-” He shouted but it was already too late. Kagura had sliced the tentacles with her umbrella and he was falling head-first onto the rocky ground. He squeezed his eyes shut, bracing for the impact. The pain never came. He hesitantly opened his eyes to see Gintoki's smug face two centimeters away from his own. He was holding him up so that Hijikata's arms would instinctively wrap around his neck. His forehead was leaning against his and their noses brushed for a split second. Gintoki smirked. Hijikata closed his eyes again.
Then, he punched him.

In which Hijikata and Gintoki become friends with benefits and later on parents. Watch them navigate their way through morning sickness, mood swings, and more hardships. Thankfully, they can just direct all their stress and anger onto a crazy amanto scientist like always!
