Summary
Tony's abrasiveness ruffles feathers; he knows this. But the other Avengers still only seem to treat him well when he's been hurt in the line of duty. If bleeding is all he needs to do, what's another injury, really? Too bad that comes across as his being a reckless liability.
"Was this what family actually meant?
"With his good hand, he clutched his broken arm to his chest like it was something precious. Maybe this was the heart-proof they needed. Maybe that was what he had been doing wrong up until now. More than likely it was only a piece; systems as complex as human relationships always relied on multiple factors. If through nothing else, he'd learned that while building Jarvis. Trial and error had taught him that. But even so, sometimes, after a certain level of complexity, a butterfly can flutter its wings in a distant country and touch everything. Change everything."

Sam gets carsick. He hasn't “grown out of it,” as his dad insisted he would. He just stopped mentioning it.
Five times it goes ignored. Plus one time it doesn't.

Tag to Season 8 finale. Dean talks to an unconscious Sam.
"He couldn't tear his gaze off his little brother lying in that bed. To look away meant he might disappear; he might up and dissolve in all the ways that mattered."

Summary
Fics & ficlets I’ve had running through my head and want to put out in the ether. Mostly Matt whump with a little silliness down the road (esp as I drift more into Avengers crossovers).
Mostly stand-alone, though others in the series can add context for character interactions as that builds. But think of it more as snapshots over time instead of a continuous narrative.
Current theory is that it's how I process my own sensitive senses and chronic pain. But I'm at the point I keep cycling these in my head, re-editing them, and it's becoming a problem for focus and sleep. I'm hoping that getting them out of my head will help me stop #@!&ing thinking about them finally.
I feel like I’ve read just about every DD fanfic on this site at this point, and I'm sometimes unsure if my ideas are actually original versus just an amalgamation of all I’ve read Frankensteined together. To that effect, if you notice something is super similar to something else you've read, then my brain probably looped it in to my own story, so please let me know in the comments so I can take a look to see if I remember it, then credit it under 'remix/inspired by' accordingly.

Summary
Daredevil bonds with the Avengers.
[Can be read stand-alone (& each chapter is one-shot-ish); relevant context in the tags]
1: After a routine bust goes slightly sideways, Hawkeye finds himself playing field medic to a wounded Daredevil. As they patch each other up in Clint's apartment, it leads to a lesson in pain theory and an unexpected moment of quiet understanding. (More of a drabble than a fic tbh; HawkDevil if you squint)
2: An attempt to retrieve stolen Stark tech has Iron Man calling on Daredevil. When the mission goes wrong, an injured Daredevil's carefully guarded secrets begin to crack under Tony's observant eye.
3: Another day, another mission to retrieve Stark's tech. Daredevil faces similar scrutiny from Black Widow. (DareWidow if you squint even harder)
4: After following a weapons tip into Hell's Kitchen, Captain America finds himself fighting alongside the Devil of the neighborhood, whose perception of the battle is as unnerving as his skill.
5: Thor winds up in the Kitchen, chasing down Amora the Enchantress. Matt's senses go haywire, but they're exactly what Thor needs.
