Izzy and Axl live normally. Then they don't. They both die. Kind of for each other??? Anyway, they never leave the house they died in, even as ghosts, and when three immature hoodlums move into the house, they want them out. The only thing is, they suck at haunting, and the three guys who moved in know they're there, they just don't care. Yeah.
This is kind of inspired by Beetlejuice, if you couldn't already tell.

John would hardly call himself an optimist, maybe a realist at best, but it was moments like these that really humbled him with the reminder of why such seemingly blissful ignorance could exist in the first place - it could exist because of him. Because of everything the Thunderbolts did that day, and would hopefully continue to do under whatever bullshit name they changed to in the future. This was all he really wanted to do, not just now, but in every single aspect of his life, with every moment he's ever had on this god forsaken planet - he wanted to protect the good in the world.
And for the first time since that day he went dark in those shame rooms, he realized that he'd actually succeeded, for once.
When someone finally takes a chance to treat John Walker like a normal human being in what feels like a lifetime, something can't help but start to bloom between the cracks of this super soldier's broken heart.

You know you can pay it back in other ways,” Jisung said, tugging on Minho’s face until he was forced to cling onto the debt collector's pants to avoid falling over. “There are always ways to sell yourself. Your body.” He caressed his face, traced his mouth with the edge of his knife. Minho was forced to bear it as the cold knife dipped inside his lips, kissing the tip of his tongue. “Or your blood.” The knife trailed out from between his lips and dipped lower, leaving a thin trail of spit as it moved down Minho’s chest until it sat pointed at his heart."
Minho was just trying his best in his minimum wage job, keeping his head down and ignoring his boss' illegal dealings as he tried to pay off his never ending mountain of debt. But when a debt collector began following him Minho grew weary, days turned into weeks and his stalker remained a shadow. Until early one morning when an encounter with a mugger changed everything, causing Minho's already disastrous life to spiral out of control. Leading him to enter an agreement that changed his life forever.

“Are you sure? You’re bleeding,” the woman pointed at her own lip, as if Buck was unaware he was bleeding from his.
“Yeah. I’m sure.”

“Jason?? Is that you? What-“
“Shira, please.”
A pause. You hear his ragged breaths on the other side of the line. You consider hanging up. Your voice comes out low, angry.
“You got real nerve, you know that? Son of a… argh! Fine!”
You turn on the TV, to find Cobblepots warehouse going up in flames. His breaths are heavy, and he sounds pained as he huffs out a sentence.
“See that? I did that... Just wanted someone to know.”. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
"I would recognize you in total darkness, were you mute and I deaf, I would recognize you in another whole life entirely, in different bodies, different times."

Wherein a young woman, who was one of the Pittfest shooting victims, has been living on the shut-down eighth floor of PTMC for around six months now, after surviving Pittfest thanks to the doctors at PMTC’s ER. The effects from her experience and injuries led to her losing her job, her home, and pretty much everything that gave her a will to live.
But she’s still… showering and brushing her teeth and *trying* to get a good sleep schedule going, even in a technically abandoned floor of the local hospital, so maybe she’s not checking out just yet? Right?
Work title was inspired by Dr. Joy Kwon’s comment to Dr. Dennis Whitaker about him being the “Phantom of the Pitt.”
