Summary
Hockey. Ilya wanted him to give up hockey. Ilya beat him until Shane agreed. It didn't take long.
Self-betrayal felt heavy, reducing Shane to something tiny and insignificant. A little mouse pinned under a concrete slab. He wanted to burst under the pressure and finally be free from the pain, but instead he just shrank, melting, flattening out. Methodically, slowly, without any clear point of no return he could have noticed.
Until this evening.
An alternative ending for "i'm coming home" series by unseemlyndisturbed. Diverges right after final chapter of "i'm coming to the cottage".
