As it would turn out death did not grant Vanitas the freedom he wished but instead cursed him to become the one thing he did not wish to be. A vampire.
And what happens when a Noe riddled with guilt decides the best course of action is to hide from and avoid Vanitas, When all the other wants to do is give Noe a good talking to? -

When the sun kisses the horizon and the sky bleeds out from its brilliant blue to a calming and whimsical Purple, an aurora of color soon dances into the night, but just for that brief moment, for a single hour, the day meets the night, bridged by what we call dusk, this is the only way a new night comes and we can rest easy without a sudden fear of darkness, the slow reveal of the dusk that gives way to night.
The same could be said for a pair of constantly lightening eyes, such a brilliant blue becoming closer to the color of the sky with each passing day, and a pair of distracting but welcoming purple eyes that would meet for a brief moment, and yet for that mere moment a whole conversation is had, a silent understanding is spoken.

A one-shot connected to my previous fic but can be read as a stand-alone as this takes place before Noe and Vanitas are together.
In which Vanitas' 'Death' resulted in him becoming a vampire, the more he used the book of Vanitas the less human he became.
Vanitas finds he isn't compatible with anyone he tried to drink from apart from Noe.
They both hold lingering and confusing feelings about one another and in this fic, basically, Vanitas does his monthly blood drinking session with a side of dubiously questionable ways of looking at romance, on if love borders on Love or Obsession, and so he decides to keep his distance from Noe. Keeping their relationship just toeing the line of Platonic or Romantic. -

A repost of an old fic of mine, in which I just changed up a few words and sentances :)
roughly based on a dream i had
In which this takes place after Vanitas's death, In which Noe kills Vanitas due to the curse Lord Ruthven placed on him, The fic roughly covers the events leading up to this situation, but long story short, Vanitas wasnt killed, he returned as a vampire, the very thing's he swore to destroy.
This is now months later, where he and Noe are sharing a night of passion and reflecting as he drinks his partner's blood.
Noe wished to repent for killing Vanitas in some way, and Vanitas never said he was a saint and saw an opputunity.no real plot for this one shot, just alott of touching and sexual feelings bouncing around.
(Might make a full version that goes into more detail on the plot at a later date as the idea of writing a growing friendship between Jeanne and Noe in which they both share one braincell is far to tempting)
