Summary
Izuku Midoriya is suicidal. Why wouldn’t he be? No parents, no friends, no future.
But he’s not quite ready to throw his life away.
He should at least try to throw it at some villains.
So he becomes a vigilante. But not a brave, heroic crime fighter, dodging heroes and officers at every turn.
No, he gets arrested his very first night out.
Through a combination of bullshitting everyone, quirkist lawmakers, and the technical definition of vigilantism, he makes it back out onto the street.
It’s just self defense, right?
Or,
Izuku’s a vigilante, a pretty good one too, but he’s shit at dodging law enforcement. Luckily for him, since he’s not actually breaking any laws, he doesn’t have to.

Summary

Taylor intends to rescue him and rebuild her small family, but she'll have to contend with the chaos stirred up by gangs led by supervillains-turned-warlord: Blastgerm, Damsels of Distress, the Pure, Accord's own Ambassadors, and the Teeth, not to mention whatever parahumans and evil clones may lurk in the shadows, nor the consequences of her actions in Brockton Bay.

Summary
The Sludge Villain doesn't find Bakugo after escaping All Might, but some other random civilian. There's no series of explosions to draw All Might to the scene of the second attack. It's by pure luck that Izuku stumbles upon them. And Izuku does what he always has when he sees one person hurting another: inserts himself between the aggressor and victim. He finds this is significantly harder to do when one of the parties is a sentient slime.
