Summary
It was supposed to be a simple mission. But a grief-mad physicist is a very different creature from a power-mad biologist, and Chris Redfield doesn't quite adapt quickly enough. After watching the world melt and twist around him as reality itself rebelled against being violated, he wakes up with his team surrounding him and trying to adapt while also keeping themselves between him and someone he never thought he'd see again.
Captain Albert Wesker, of S.T.A.R.S. In full uniform. Very clearly confused, and just as clearly trying to hide the fact. And entirely human.
It's June 12nd, 1998. They have six weeks before Arklay, three months before the beginning of the end of Raccoon City, and more lurking countdowns to every other horror that's transformed Christopher Redfield into a man that his own former captain and arch-nemesis doesn't recognize.
But Christopher Redfield has never turned down a challenge. And this one is no different.

Summary
Chris keeps throwing subtle glances towards Leon as they advance through the dark tunnels only illuminated by their flashlights.
Something is wrong with Leon. Chris just knows it.
The way he had pulled away from Chris as if he’d been burned, the paleness of his face and the sheer fear he’d read in his eyes when he’d shone the light on his face…
Even now, Leon’s stance is rigid, the tension in his shoulders visible as is the tightness of his grip around his handgun.
More strangely, there’s also a scent following in Leon’s wake. There shouldn't be one since Leon is a beta.
It confuses Chris. He doesn’t know what to make of it all.

Summary
After Elpis Leon returns to Raccoon City searching, for what? He couldn’t quite admit it, but the face of an old Captain flashed through his mind; just like it had when the message of an unknown surge in bio-chemicals was once again filling Raccoon City.
–
Leon travels back to Raccoon City discovering one of Umbrella’s underground labs, not yet destroyed and still operational. Inside he finds a broken and hurt Wesker.
Wesker doesn’t die in the volcano, and he and Leon had met before at the police station as a part of STARS years ago.

Summary

On the day she was meant to come back however, Chris gets a panicked phone call from the woman before she goes missing.
Before he knows it, Chris finds himself the temporary legal guardian of a baby and living with his captain as they and the rest of S.T.A.R.S try to find his former major before its too late...
