Summary
Don’t you have anything better to do?
He’d been told he was too much since he was a kid, he had too much energy or he was too loud or he needed too much love and comfort, or he… the examples were endless.
Could you maybe shut up for once?
All three of his past partners had broken up with him because he was too much. He needed too much reassurance and attention. He talked too much. He loved too much. Vessel was too much of everything. He couldn’t be normal about anything. He loved too deeply, shoved it in the face of his partners to the point of pushing them away.
With a deep breath, he nodded his resolve to himself. He was going to be normal about something for once in his life. He didn’t have any clue how to do that, but he was going to figure it out.
It was either that or lose II.

Summary
IV is trans but tries to hide it the best he can. He's been hurt before by people who can't accept him the way he is.
When he gets his period on a day he gets to hang out with the band, something happens that gives away his secret. As scared as he is, he finds that he has more in common with the band than he thought, and acceptance is only possible when he allows himself to be who he truly is.

Summary
IV has been what the media calls "big" his entire life. He's been made fun of, taunted, put down, you name it. He's tried for so long to shed his extra weight.
He's been with the band for a while now, has settled in well as both band-mate and roommate. Things are going great! He's happy for the others and their relationship. He's happy to be their supportive friend, knows he doesn't stand a chance. But maybe, if he can get himself in shape, they'd see something in him, too? Maybe if he takes things a little further, works out a little more and eats a little less, he'll have more success.
The others notice his changing habits and are more than a little concerned.

Summary
IV wasn’t shy in the way Vessel was, and he’d spent much of their youth standing up for the two of them as his friend loomed quietly beside him, but sex had always felt like a private thing to him, something he didn’t quite know how to articulate — he was just sort of embarrassed about having that attention on him, like he was about to wake up and realise it was just one large practical joke at his expense.
But it was New Year’s Eve, and he was drunk and Vessel had fucked off to Hammersmith with his possessive freak of a boyfriend, and there was a man with pretty makeup on his pretty face and maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, after all. Just for the night.

Summary
It had been over nine months since the breakup, and Vessel was over it. Over the darkness that had orbited the both of them for years and years. Over what had happened at the end of the year. Over how he'd nearly lost everything; his job, his friendship, his sanity. This wouldn't be a rebound, but a reset.

Summary
“You’re not due for another week,” II said with his arms crossed, staring at the tent in IV’s pyjamas and then at the beads of sweat trailing down his forehead. “Why has it come early?”
“Not sure how to ask Sleep that,” IV panted, fingers fumbling on the frame of the door. II seemed to relent, hand wrapping around his arm and pulling him into the house.
“Vessel is away,” he said plainly once the door had closed behind them. He guided IV upstairs, to the warmth of their bedroom. “At the beach.”
“What?” IV said, voice raising an octave. Not good. Not good at all. “But this is a fuck or die situation... Vessel said that once...and you don’t live near the beach.”
or
Bestowed with a monthly curse by their beloved Sleep, IV's arrangement with his fellow vessels requires adjustment when only one is around to fulfil his needs.
