Yuna Hollander inexplicably develops a soft spot for her sons rival. In a random hallway in Los Angeles during the MHL draft in 2009. A soft spot that she works very hard on covering up over the next 8 or so years. Sometimes talking about him a little too ridiculously, or a little too much, afraid that it'll be extremely obvious if she breathes even one small compliment about him. Afraid someone will find out that she had seen something that day that brought out a fierce protectiveness in her, even if Ilya wasn't hers to protect. Shane could never know.

He was, objectively, handsome; you probably had to be, to get a photoshoot with what Shane was quickly realizing was a glorified skin mag. But the thing that caught Shane’s attention was the dark marks that littered the Omega’s skin.
Shane swallowed hard, unreasonably affected by the image.

Summary
Jackie isn’t an important WAG. She’s married to Hayden, which is good - wives are harder to get rid of than girlfriends or fiancées, or at least they’re more expensive to get rid of. She has four kids with Hayden, which is good too - kids are hard to get rid of in a divorce, at least if a player doesn’t want to look like a complete douchebag and fuck up his sponsorships.
But she’s not a movie star or a pop star or even just an influencer.
So when Shane and Ilya are outed (she’s still fucking mad at Hayd), Jackie knows she’s not going to be an important part of managing the fallout.
Jackie’s a real friend though so she’s going to support Shane and Ilya every way she can, even if it’s only by dealing with the awful Metros WAGs.
