Summary
Rocky emerges, and his body language alone is enough to get me going. I struggle around my laugh, clamping my hand over my mouth. He waits patiently for me to gather myself.
“Eridians are gay,” he declares. “I escape closet for all of them.”
I fail. I tuck my glasses into the collar of my shirt so I can put my head in my hands, wiping tears as they come.
“Rocky,” I say between giggles, “Rocky, I don’t think—I don’t think you can apply human sexuality to Eridians.”
Something in him shifts, then. He perks to attention from his relaxed state, and though he has no eyes or facial features, I swear I can feel his gaze narrow on me.
“I also read about gay rights,” he says slowly, warily. “Read that gay humans are hated some places. Bad.” He comes closer, looking up at me with all the accusation his flat face can muster. “You hate gay, question?”

“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.
Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.
“I’ll take the risk.”

Summary
Thick walls and thin windows are a staple of Tatooine life. The walls heat while the twin suns pound down on them, generating enough heat to keep them warm during the freezing nights when the lack of cloud cover allows the heat to escape the burning sands at a furious rate. Thin windows let in the light while minimising the impact of the heat. It does not do much, but it is enough to allow the residents to get by without using extra power to run air conditioning which generates additional heat. Cody hates Tatooine.
And in a twisted way he loves it.

Summary
Strange Force planets with shape shifting humanoid figures who radiate power was not something that Cody had on his Force shit bingo card. The fact that he and his brothers even have Force shit bingo cards simply speaks to the insanity of being an enhanced clone super soldier fighting alongside space wizards. All this talk of Light and Dark goes over his head, gives him a headache in fact.
Cody ends up with Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Anakin when they visit Mortis. This changes things.

"Kix?" Cody asks. He forgets sometimes that not everyone is as familiar with how well he knows, or knew, some of the members of the 501st.
Kix has been missing for a while, presumed dead really but given the number of times they have found people who went missing over the last couple of years Cody isn't surprised that some hold on to hope.

Summary
The addition of the clones to the Temple had not been a decision made lightly, the clones were created to be an army. They are highly competent, highly trained, and not considered sentient by the Republic at large even though the Jedi cannot deny that they are and have spent three years fighting with the Senate about it. It breaks the Rusaan Reformation to have them in the Temple, but the only other option had been to cull them and no Jedi was going to allow that. The Jedi have been treading a fine line ever since.
With the sudden death of Chancellor Palpatine the clones are discovered and brought to the Temple. This is a slice of life three years later.
Codywan Week Day 7: Clones found early and moved to the Temple.

Cody has always heard the whispers on the edges of his mind, the thoughts that flitter through the minds of his brothers which are never voiced aloud. The negativity of the Cuy'Val Dar, the anguish of the Prime, the childish wonder and fear of Boba, the arrogance of the Kaminiise. He learnt at a young age to block the whispers out, to ignore the thoughts, to help those he could in any way that he could without drawing attention to himself. The safety of others, after all, could only be ensured if Cody, himself, remained alive to ensure it.
Cody is telepathic, he always has been. But it turns out that while he can read other people's surface thoughts without really trying (a problem all of its own), he cannot read the minds of Force Sensitives. Somehow, this helps to save the galaxy

Echo woke slowly, with a warm, relaxed sluggishness that was very unfamiliar to him in his artificially short life. He opened his eyes, expecting to find the top of his bunk above him, perhaps with Crosshair’s lanky arm hanging over the side. Instead, Echo found an unfamiliar white ceiling. Discord trickled through his belly, a cold drop tainting his warm sleepiness. Still strangely drowsy and sluggish, he tried to sit up. He couldn’t.
And then he felt the restraints digging into his wrists. The strap wrapped tight around his chest.
The warmth evaporated, replaced by a searing flare of panic.
