    “Mandalorian kids?” Quinlan wore a deep frown on his face, knowing how troublesome that was for the Republic.

    “They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”

    “To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”

    “The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.

    “Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”

    “I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”

    “They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”

    “There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”

    Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”

    They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.

    Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.

    “I’ll take the risk.”

    Thick walls and thin windows are a staple of Tatooine life. The walls heat while the twin suns pound down on them, generating enough heat to keep them warm during the freezing nights when the lack of cloud cover allows the heat to escape the burning sands at a furious rate. Thin windows let in the light while minimising the impact of the heat. It does not do much, but it is enough to allow the residents to get by without using extra power to run air conditioning which generates additional heat. Cody hates Tatooine.

     

    And in a twisted way he loves it.

    Strange Force planets with shape shifting humanoid figures who radiate power was not something that Cody had on his Force shit bingo card. The fact that he and his brothers even have Force shit bingo cards simply speaks to the insanity of being an enhanced clone super soldier fighting alongside space wizards. All this talk of Light and Dark goes over his head, gives him a headache in fact.

     

    Cody ends up with Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Anakin when they visit Mortis. This changes things.

    Codywan Week Day 5: Force sensitive Cody/Force Bond/The Force ships it.
