Miles Edgeworth has a realization. Phoenix Wright also has a realization. If there's a significant length of time between these two events, well. No one ever said the course of true love ran smooth.
(Edgeworth thinks they're dating, Phoenix doesn't realize - mostly because they've basically been in unspoken love for so long that nothing really changes, until it does. Nebulously post Dual Destinies.)
