Summary
The stars are slowly vanishing.
It's Shockwave's job to stop that, but yesterday a castaway thunked against his ship, the Seraph, and after pulling him out of a ship that was less of a spaceworthy vessel and more of an iron lung, getting his oxygen levels up, and rehydrating him, Shockwave keeps discovering that Blurr is from... just... just a very bad place.
But Blurr is also the first human being Shockwave has seen in ages, and that's playing with his emotions in no small way.
And Shockwave is the single most perfect being Blurr has ever seen, and it's messing with his head in no small way.
Longarm Prime is a snakey-olm-gator-armadillo-lobster alien, and he's very excited to meet the new human he rescued from a doomed timeline without telling anyone that's what he was doing.
Based on Keferon's Space Roommates AU, a Humanformers/Bloody Mary mashup kind of thing. Follows Reach, For The Stars and Without Hope Of Recovery.

[From Tumblr]: Good cop bad cop but Jim Gordon (the good cop) is passed out from blood loss and exhaustion and Batman (the obvious bad cop) bundles everyone involved (including his kids) into a corner booth at a 24 hour diner and proceeds to interrogate the suspect over shitty diner coffee and the sounds of his kids force feeding Commissioner Gordon apple pie and french fries.
It's the most intimidating interrogation that has ever taken place in Gotham.
(or, the one where May’s Diner has seen everything Gotham has to offer at night. almost everything, at least)

He has no idea how he ended up anywhere near Shockwave's very fancy spaceship, or why Shockwave is being so generous, or what to do now-- mostly he's just sure Shockwave is the most beautiful man he's ever seen, and it's stopping him from thinking about anything sensible.
Keferon's Space Roommates AU is a humanformers Bloody Mary AU, and it amused me to let Shockwave take the jaws of life to the Iron Lung.

Take one AU that doesn't, at the moment, even have its own tag yet. Throw in one question (but how did Blurr get there?), invoke my name, and you get a ficlet I guess?
Or, the ship with the technology to save the stars-- and thus, the universe-- is adrift, because its pilot lost an arm, and the controls require two hands. The alien sent to help him has two arms... but his species never evolved eyes, so he's not as much help as he wants to be.
But when your murky-water-swimming, cave-and-burrow-dwelling evolution gave your species the ability to stretch out alien senses and locate more esoteric qualities than 'edible' or 'inedible,' and the literal fate of the universe is on the line...

The glass was impossible for Peter to break, but he could still hear through it. He could even kind of hear the voice coming through the comm device in the guy’s ear.
“Buck? Talk to me.”
Peter recognized that voice, but his brain was too fuzzy to pinpoint it. The tests that the scientists had put him through hadn’t been too horrible so far, but the constant triggering of his Spidey sense had overloaded all his heightened senses. It was hard to retain anything through the migraine, as if words were pouring around the sides of his brain and sliding off.
“It’s a kid.”

Summary
Shockwave died in his original, peaceful world, and woke up in a favorite dramatic novel, taking the place of the character who shares his name.
The evil senator, doomed to suffer empurata and shadowplay and die trying to destroy the world, who happens to share his name.
Shockwave felt nothing.
It was difficult to consider his situation, given how his actions and thoughts, lately, had so deeply revolved around his emotions.
He can't try to change his role, his place in the story, or he'll undo this whole second chance at life, so he just has to play along and try to ignore how he feels about the main character Orion Pax.
But this isn't all of that.
This is the aftermath of shadowplay.

Summary
This is the way the world works: the sun rises in the east. The strong come out on top. Bakugou Katsuki rockets through life like a comet and Midoriya Izuku stumbles after. If he believed in such things Katsuki would say it was written in the stars. That some god of war had looked at him and said this one. That he’d been passed along a line to get his blessings – genius, willpower, fearless ambition – and dropped off on earth.
Then, of course, there is the question of Deku. The spitfire runt. Deku, no matter what the world does to him, never stops hoping.
Until, of course, he eventually does.
(Katsuki broke him. Snapped him in half like a twig and now has to scramble to put Deku back together. “We can do this, Deku," he says slowly. "There are so many mysteries that never got put to bed. Criminals roaming around looking to hurt people and you and me, we can fix that.”
There’s a long pause. The comforter slips a little off Deku’s skinny shoulders and drowns him. “You mean like a team?”
In that split second, Katsuki makes a decision he’s never even considered. He swallows his pride. “Yeah, Deku. We’d be a team.”)

Shouta considers. He’s unarmed, facing an unknown person who knows his home address and his first name, he hasn’t slept in thirty-six hours, and he’s wearing kitten-patterned pajama pants. Despite all of that, he’s still confident in his ability to handle himself in a fight, but nothing about this situation is making sense, and it’s sending him slightly off-kilter.
Starting with how the shadow man knows his name.
“Maybe,” he says, after his silence has dragged on a beat too long. “Who’s asking.”
(Aizawa Shouta is two years out of UA, and three years grieving the death of one of his best friends, when a stranger knocks on his door in the middle of the night.)
