Summary
Luca Haas is playing on a team with both his hockey idols, he's not the youngest on the team anymore, they made it to the playoffs last season, this season they're locked in from the start. Luca's also realizing that he's a bit alone on his team. He's known he's queer,for years. He knows his team would accept him, the way they've accepted Troy, Ilya, Shane and Harris but... His best friend asks about girls he's hooked up with, the other "kids" all talk about their conquests. He could talk to his captain about it but Ilya's busy figuring out marriage, parenting a teenager, and navigating the foster care system.
Ash Holmberg still, kind of, wants to die. He's cycling through medications, attending therapy and doing everything he's supposed to be doing after inpatient treatment. His twin brother's moved him into the frat house he shares with two other professional hockey players. He knows that his brother would be wrecked if he actually died. So he draws and works and pretends like he's doing okay. And then he realizes how frat-bro-y his brother and his friends are and gets conscripted into helping turn all six of them into dateable adults.

Summary
Montreal comes into Ottawa looking for blood.
They get a rookie with a mouth on him instead.
It’s supposed to be just another tight, physical game against the Voyageurs. Hard checks, ugly chirps, Rozanov bleeding a little for dramatic effect, the usual. Shane thinks he’s prepared. Ilya is, as always, one mildly illegal hit away from throwing hands. Bood is having the time of his life.
No one, however, is prepared for Luca Haas.
Nineteen. Polite. Painfully earnest. Carries art supplies in his backpack. Has never had an on-ice fight.
Until he does.
A story about rivalry, locker room insanity, rookie feral awakenings, and the exact moment Ottawa realizes their baby has teeth.

"I didn't ask if you wanted to," Shane said, his voice ice cold. "I said apologise to my husband. You're going to do it now, in front of this building full of people, and then we're going to finish this game, and if I hear you say something like that again, to either of us or to anyone else in this league, the next conversation we have will not be as easy as this one."

Summary
When Ilya takes an interest in Shane's baby photos displayed around the Hollander's home, Shane decides, with the help of Svetlana, to track down some of Ilya's own.
___“You look just like her,” Shane said carefully, lips pressed against Ilya’s temple. Ilya nodded, his wet face smearing against Shane’s neck. They had migrated so that Ilya was half on top of Shane’s lap, clutching at his shirt. “I’ll get this printed for you, okay? You’ll always have it.”
“Now you see,” Ilya said wetly, choking on a sob. “She’s so beautiful.”

Summary
Shane hasn’t been new on a team since his rookie season. He hasn’t had to walk into a locker room full of guys he doesn’t know since he was nineteen. That first year in Montreal had been one of the most exhausting of his life, and the hockey had been the least of it.
Boston’s locker room will be easier than Montreal's, Shane thinks. Hopes.
