Summary
Usually I drop my poems in Original Works. This is a homage to all of the Supernatural-based stories I have read that are based on unrequited love, including triangles, misunderstandings, and well-intended failures. I wrote this after I left the man I thought was my true love–and moved 1000 miles away. The good news–we both found lasting happiness with the right people. He and I are still friends. A good guy.

Summary
Poems and short stories that relate to my love of fantasy and speculative fiction. Some have connections to specific fandoms but I feel that "Original Works" is a better home for them. I also know few people will read them, but I like thinking that they are now set in amber and will outlive me.

Summary
Talismen have been known by many names. In recent decades, they were called the Resistance, the Underground, the Partisans, the Maquis, the Auxiliaries, guerillas, etc. In this, the Golden Age of Hunters, they are called the Talismen. Officially, or unofficially, they have been helping the warrior/hunter class for thousands of years, particularly during times of war and oppression.
Although the Talismen are well-known outside of North America, the Hunter community in the US mostly has embraced a different path, more the teenage–we like to suffer alone and in silence and misery so we can pretend we do it all–road, without the assistance of good people who are grateful and have wicked skills and resources to share.
They are never mentioned in the series canon is because of John Winchester's stubborn insistence, with which he infects his sons, that the Winchesters stay the Lone Eagle Hunters, relying on themselves mostly. He only partners on occasion with like-minded Hunters, who he reliably ticks off and drives away.
The stories in this series are not always about the formal Talismen community but definitely about those lovely folk who helped our boys on their journeys, asking for nothing in return.

Summary
These stories focus on the Winchester boys growing up. I have moved some older stories into this series, even if they also touch on grown-up Sam and Dean. They are about how they became the men that they became and were able to save the world and others, this universe and others.
The stories are not necessarily connected–different versions of their childhoods and people who helped them.

Summary
The premise is that just as the creatures of the Supernatural world are becoming extinct, and fewer demons are finding their way upstairs, a critical mass of civilians, starting with law enforcement officers, elected officials, and the FBI, have learned about the Supernatural community and the Hunters who kept them in check for hundreds of years-as well as saved this world and others.
The first story is an introduction.

I read Wrapped in Honey by lady emebalia, and also Nothing Else Matters by genevra1676, and thought... 'what if it were Dean and Castiel instead?'
Dean's an incubus... unwillingly.
And Cas is his even less willing source of food!Warnings for homophobic and foul language, dubious/possible non-consensual sex, and quite a lot of violence!

Summary
Castiel Allen is a social failure. But his grandmama, Lady Celeste Novak, is determined to establish him in society so that he can embark on a political career. After a spectacular disaster at the event of the Season, Lady Celeste decides to take charge.
“I know that you have many good qualities Castiel, but we are both aware that those good qualities seldom show themselves in company...”
Castiel is silent now, one scone still remaining untouched on his plate, his tea growing cold.
Celeste sits up a little straighter and smooths the silk skirts over her knees. “And so I have made a decision.” She pins Castiel with her gaze, like a collector might pin a butterfly. “I will select an omega bride for you.”
His gaze whips up from the hearthrug and his mouth falls open.
“You will marry,” she says, her jaw set firmly against any protestations. “ And then you can finally take up your place as my heir.”
