Ted isn’t sure what the heck is happening and suddenly he thinks maybe he should just hang up. Hang up the phone and go to bed and never listen to the rest of the voicemail again. It feels like eavesdropping in a way - she has clearly had more than a bit to drink, she’d never be this candid if she wasn’t hammered.
