Summary
From the time Shang-Chi comes to San Francisco, he tries to bury his old life, which chases him into the new one. Over the years of his friendship with Katy Chen and Soo, he becomes more comfortable in his skin, and almost sets aside the memory of who he once was. When the Snap sends the world into chaos, he and Katy go on a cross-country trip to bring Soo home from college, discovering unexpected strengths along the way.
Meanwhile, in China, Xialing tries to navigate her fast-deteriorating relationship with her father, her fears about the Snap, and her anger at her absent brother.
