Summary
It was a hot humid morning already despite the early hour. The Hound Wolf Squad loaded up their research vessel, the Blue Matilda, at the darkest hours before setting off just before dawn from the docks. The golden light of morning broke across the horizon reflecting off of the calm Indian sea. The weather was fair with a good forecast for the coming week. Night Howl was behind the wheel in the cabin monitoring their equipment as they made their way to Sempu Island.
Numerous sightings of a strange creature that is believed to be a mutation leftover from one of the Asia specific outbreaks had all centered around this region. The creature has been known to attack ships and has even been linked to the deaths of numerous shark fin poachers. Many drownings and sunken ships had been allegedly associated with the possible bioweapon, which gave the BSAA the authority to intervene on the situation.
Chris had stepped in with his team to intercept the case out of his own curiosity, and due to his involvement in the fall of Neo-Umbrella and the numerous C-virus outbreaks they caused across Asia. He felt partially responsible for this one should it be revealed the virus was involved. Another part of him was hopeful.

Summary
His light glared off the glass back at him as Chris approached, trying to get a better view of the person within. They were tall and lean with numerous sensors attached to different parts of their body. A respirator of some kind was situated over their face as the monitors documented their oxygen levels. In the tank, thin wispy strands of blond hair hovered like a halo around the sharper familiar features of a man. The center of his chest was marred with large grotesque scarring that had healed over time. Similar scar tissue rose along both arms crisscrossing the underside like pulsing seams that cut across the spiderweb work of pale veins.
Chris didn't even need to look at the name placard for the subject on the heads up display beside the tank. His fingers found the digital screen as he punched in directions and commands, the breath sinking low in his chest and suffocating him as his heart pounded within the tight restrictive confines of his ribcage.
He couldn't believe it. He didn't think this was possible or even real. Was this really the same man he killed over a decade ago?
The man he thought he killed.

“Wesker Model A.I. 002.” Chris read off the name at the top of the paperwork with puzzlement.
He wasn't so keen on the idea of agreeing to join the Project Wesker artificial intelligence caretaker trial run that Umbrella was implementing, but when he received a notice in his mail telling him his case worker submitted him to the program’s pool of potential candidates, he figured it was a little late to refuse. Barry had convinced him to try it out at the very least. He was guaranteed to be paid for the duration of the project as long as he submitted the weekly reports back to Umbrella regarding his experiences and opinions on the Wesker Model assigned to him.
He was picked to join the twenty-five other active candidates testing these models around Raccoon City. He was expecting something that would look like a robot or some sort of talking mannequin that clucks at him to do things at pre-programmed time intervals. He didn't expect the model to be so lifelike.
Once the link to the system was complete and the data was input to wake the Wesker model up, a pair of ice blue eyes opened to stare directly at Chris.
His heart jumped energetically inside his chest. Part excitement, part surprise.

When Wesker learns of Chris and Leon's relationship he quickly develops feelings of jealously he doesn't quite understand. His façade of control slips and the limits of his strength are tested when Leon realizes that his captor is just as much a captive as he is.

This is my favorite Leon/Chris/Wesker fic to date. The way all three of the characters have been written as well as their respective roles and personality growth. Especially the detail into Weskers growing emotions and humanity after meeting Leon. I could read it multiple times and never grow tired of it. I’d beg for a sequel, a thriquel even, haha! It’s just so good. I definitely recommend you read this.
