Every locker room chip, the way none of his team bothered to reach out besides Hayden, the fact that recognition only came when he won them trophies; they didn't care to know him and they never would. Because they were happy in their partying and booze and women and Shane burst that bubble of theirs. He didn't fit, never had with them; he would not be a loss—just a devaluing of the team's standing.
