Mira was just your average University student in a world that has forgotten bending.

Thus, when the Fire Lord’s Council sent a letter to all the noble families of the nation, stating that they ought to present their daughters because the Fire Lord was looking for a wife, Raiko’s father saw his golden chance. She obeyed like a good daughter, but Raiko wasn’t naive or submissive at all. She wouldn’t become someone else’s wife without a fight.
