Summary
When a mysterious, injured woman shows up on Shen Qingqiu's doorstep in the middle of the night, she of course takes pity on her, allowing her to stay in her home until she has healed from her wounds. The woman, this Luo Binghe, is strangely alluring, and as the days pass, Shen Qingqiu finds herself wishing Luo Binghe would never leave, and it seems that the feeling is mutual.
Meanwhile, her friend Liu Qingge seems to have come to the conclusion that Shen Qingqiu's guest is a vampire-- What a ridiculous notion! Binghe is merely a precious white lotus.

Sitting on the drummer’s stool was the Dragon, a large reptilian monster with pinkish scales. Her hair hung loose and wild over her face, magenta fading into bright orange at the tips. Her jacket’s sleeves had been ripped off at the shoulder to create a leather vest studded with large golden spikes, revealing muscled arms, and she wore a pair of fingerless gloves with smaller spikes along the knuckles.
“You weren’t nearly loud enough the first time, so I’d better ask again,” Dragon said, and suddenly, her voice sounded familiar. “Are you READY to ROCK?” she growled into her mike.

Summary
Luo Binghe waits a moment…then repeats the action when Liu Qingge still doesn’t react. His voice lowers incrementally, darkening into something that promises violence in the absence of compliance. “Why are you ignoring me?”
Stiffly, Liu Qingge says, “What difference would it make whether I am or not?”
Silence follows the question. Then a scoff. Then…the demon’s posture changes. He unfolds himself, relaxing his shoulders and smiling insincerely. Lips closed, fangs concealed, like a famished tiger feigning civility.
“My mistake,” he says softly, “I forgot how stubborn you can be, Liu-shishu.”
Liu Qingge fails to suppress the shudder that squirms up his stiffened spine at this incongruously formal address. “I didn’t—you aren’t—Cang Qiong doesn’t claim you!”
Luo Binghe only shrugs. Easily. Languidly. “I’ve only ever wanted Shizun to.”
…
Or; two stubborn men fight away their feelings, fail miserably at it, and decide where to go from there.
