The library looked as though it had been bombed, books and other equipment strewn across every surface. It wasn't until a particularly large tomb nearly smacked her in the face that she realised that a good deal of the items in the room were flying around as if caught in a tornado. There was an odd crackling and static to the air as she stepped inside, closing the door behind her.
There was no sign of John in the room, if you ignored the magical mayhem. The fact that anyone could recognise this as a magical event caused by distress, warlock or not, was extremely concerning. “John?” she called out and, for a moment, the chaos seemed to falter before continuing.
There was no response.

Summary
When orcs attack Dale during negotiations, the building collapses, trapping Thorin and Thranduil in a wine cellar. Thranduil is badly injured—impaled while saving Thorin's life. With rescue days away, Thorin must keep him alive with only improvised supplies.
In darkness, old enmities fade. They share honeyed bread and honest words impossible in throne rooms. Thranduil apologizes for past wrongs. Thorin admits he understands why. When fever strikes, Thorin holds him through it.
Forced proximity becomes trust, then something deeper. But rescue is coming, and they'll have to return to their separate kingdoms. Two kings from antagonistic peoples can't keep what they found in darkness, but both question what they're willing to risk to keep it.

“And you dragged him up here?” Tim says, and then registers several things at once – the build, the hair texture; the little round scars peppering a pair of thin hands and an awfully familiar face. “Wait, is that Jon?”

When it becomes too much and Buck starts thinking about ending it all, he receives a life-changing phone call from Captain Owen Strand who would like Buck to come join them down in Austin at the 126. Buck immediately jumped at the opportunity to get away from everything. Only his mental health problems didn't go away with the move and Buck struggles with what happened and how to start a whole new life. The 126 are not about to let him go through this alone and together they show Buck that he has a family with them and they would never turn their backs on him.

After a call leaves Buck presumed missing, the 118 gather in his loft to find comfort together. They didn't know that comfort would be in the form of a falling apart box, filled with videos of his time traveling the country, trying to find his home. A 'Buck Begins Again' no one asked for.
