Summary
While on parental leave after adopting an ex-Borg Brunali child, Kathryn Janeway and Jean-Luc Picard discover that a defect in her emotion-blunting chip puts the child's life at risk. Their other adopted child, Icheb, has wanted to have his chip removed for some time. They must make tough decisions about their children's health while seeking professional help to support their new daughter's emotional fragility.
Janeway's passion for helping the children among the 30,000 ex-Borg (my story, Newcomers), leads her to contact a Vulcan journalist in the hope of spreading the word about children in need of adopters. When William Riker calls on his former captain to help him, they learn just how special their situation is.

Summary
April, 2379: A year after Voyager’s return, the Doctor makes a disturbing discovery: none of the ship’s human women have become parents. When Starfleet Medical launches an investigation, Kathryn Janeway is the first volunteer. There’s only one way to disprove a hypothesis of infertility. Jean-Luc Picard offers his assistance, and when they attempt to free Seven of Nine from stasis for the study, he learns he also has suffered long-term consequences of service.
Rated T for the science of how babies are made, not for other types of non-G content.
Set after Voyager's series end and before The Next Generation film, Nemesis.
"Picard" never happened.
"Prodigy" never happened.
The books never happened.***TW: infertility. I hesitated to post this for a long time to get the infertility story right. My apologies for any perceived lack of understanding of the psychology or science of the topic ***

At Kathryn Janeway’s suggestion, Jean-Luc Picard works with Reginald Barclay and Tom Paris to create a holographic representation of Picard's implanted memory of ancient Ressick culture. (from The Inner Light). What could go wrong?
This is a purely psychological story.
If you haven't seen The Inner Light or the film, Nemesis, some of this might not make sense for you, but I tried to explain the back-stories.

Returning from a mission ("The Better Part of Valor"), Admirals Picard and Janeway beam from The Enterprise to The Titan, captained by Will Riker to complete their trip to Earth. The reason: Romulan renegades are looking for Picard.
(There is a little violence, but not enough to warrant a warning)
This story takes place after the end of Voyager, and after The Next Generation film, Nemesis. It follows my story, The Better Part of Valor. Picard and Janeway have been a couple for awhile, and Janeway is the legal guardian of Icheb, from Voyager. Summary
While The Enterprise hosts Kathryn Janeway and her team investigating the disappearance of an Intrepid class starship, Q appears to Kathryn Janeway and Jean-Luc Picard to ask a big favor: adopt his young daughter. Set between the events of Voyager’s series-end, Endgame, and The Next Generation’s Nemesis. Kind of a "missing episode" story.
This story follows my story, “Leave of Absence,” in which Janeway and Picard formed a relationship. At this point, they have been a couple for about 3 months. Janeway is 4 months into her 6-month leave of absence. This story references Voyager episodes, “Death Wish” (S2/e18) and “Q2” (S7/e17).
This story and the previous story are in modified script format. Future stories will be prose.
