Summary
After longing for years to escape the chaos of the big city, Ukyo made one of the biggest decisions of his life by moving to a rural town in the Japanese countryside. And after picking up a job with the town's postal service, Ukyo grew to appreciate his new life and his new daily routines as a paperboy.
But it would seem that he wasn't the only one who had the idea of moving to the small town of Kotohira, as a bakery that almost seemed out of place with its overly-fancy pastries sold under the name of "Chez François" opened up in the far corners of the town. Enticed by the scent of bread, Ukyo finds more than he could have ever anticipated there, in the shape of an eccentric employee with an all-too charming smile bringing an unexpected nuance to his life.
