Sleep loved his wings once; they came in four pairs- one pair behind his ear to help him rest- the others on his back to fly through the night. Sleep use to have eight wings, now he stands with four.
(This is a recreation of the Greek Myth of Hypnos putting Zeus to sleep then incurring the King's wrath. Only in the Myth I'm pretty sure Nyx saved him from Zeus. But if you can guess... that doesn't happen here.)
