      At this point, it'll never end...My long fics are crying and screaming for attention and I'm just here...standing...currently working on Chapter 2 for this fic as I type XD

        Going back an forth in two different comment sections has become kind of a mess but I'm having so much fun :D

          Same :'D I know exactly zero people in real life who like this sort of content or the batfam like I do, and sometimes it's really sad having so many ideas that I share with no one in-person. People like you who respond back and forth with me are like a breath of fresh air, because I don't have any other platforms and it's like a whole "I have no mouth but I must scream" situation...but it's batfam xD

              Aww so close but so far 😭😭 As someone who once tried something like that, the awkward smile and nod is too crushing for me :')

              Honestly, I'd love to, but I don't have better communication than this :') I could probably make an author's corner or something. That'd probably be less annoying for people (not too sure on comment etiquette here. Comment convos could be totally normal or the most taboo thing, and I wouldn't know xD) If only ao3 had a pm system or something :[

              ...I'm now highly considering having someone call Jason a good egg sometime. Because he absolutely is a good egg. Maybe a little cracked and hard-boiled, but definitely still good.

                What's an author's corner? Or what do you mean by that?

                I have no idea either if long comment threads are like okay or not but I love getting the og tumblr experience from the comments just getting slimmer and slimmer as we go on xD

                Also private messages on ao3 would be cool but I understand that there isn't cuz it isn't like a social media platform or anything

                  From what I've seen (which isn't much but it's what I've got xD), author's corners are like...made the same way fics are, but they're made specifically for the author to talk about stuff, like ideas for new fics, polling fic ideas, writing little drabbles that wouldn't be enough for a fic, take questions from readers, that kind of stuff. The comment amount wouldn't be a problem. Plus, it could probably be really useful for me in the case of "I have so many ideas I want to write. I'll throw them up here and see what people think" xD I'd probably link it to all of my fics and make it a thing only registered users could see. But, I think that's the gist of them. :D

                  xD I've never been on tumblr, let alone when this format was the norm, but I'm glad it's amusing. It's always something to see the comment box size dwindle to nothing xD

                  Yeah, I get why they don't have a messaging thing either. Not like this is a forum, and there's already the comments anyway.

                      Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I could also drop fic ideas there to gauge what people's thoughts are on them and also so I don't forget xD It could be a fun thing.
