I have been counting down the days to this update. All day. I refreshed the page, ur tumblr, my email, waiting for this fic. This fic has been. Oh my lord. Such an experience to read, I immediately ran to recommend it to my friends as soon as I could, and we all spent the day on the edge of our seats waiting for the final chapter. As soon as I sent it to others, they immediately joined me in gushing about your prose, your humour, and your stellar world building. The amount of reads should be abt 100x what it is. You have made ART, here on ao3 dot com. The angle of a reporter who hates the hero, the humour and personality pouring from each character, every interaction leaving me gripping waiting for more. It’s not often I find myself getting lost in a fic, loosing sight of time and the world around me. Yet this fic, had my head in the sand. This finale was MORE than worth the wait. You have an incredible talent. I have laughed cried screamed and felt myself jumping for joy for these characters. You have created a timeless story that honestly deserves a thousand and one awards. Even now I feel like my words fail to capture just how much I adored supercritical.

I've mentioned in replies to other comments, but I always just want to give an extra thank you for people who compliment my writing as being engaging. I think out of all things in my writing, "entertaining" is the thing I strive to accomplish the most. I LOVE hearing when people are able to lose themselves in my writing. To me, that's one of the biggest possible compliment 😭
FSDFKJ Thank you for the compliment on my prose. I actually had to sit here and make myself take that compliment-- I personally feel like my prose is one area where I'm often not as strong-- not that it's BAD at all, just that I feel like things like dialogue far outshine the descriptions and such. But you know, I think with a longform story, having light, non-distracting prose is probably helpful. I often look at shortform writing with the GORGEOUS writing styles where reading the writing is even more of a treat than reading the story and I'm like "WOW that is some gorgeous prose." But sometimes the job of the words and sentences isn't to be gorgeous, but to be easy to engage with. And you know? I DO think I accomplish that, and that's such a good reminder to have. My writing philosophy has always been "There's not a 'right' or 'wrong', there's just effective or ineffective." and I think you're right that the prose fits this story and I can be proud of that 💪😂
