i really adored this! i just reread the ending of deathly hallows and was being kinda grumpy feeling that Rowling didn't do the final battle justice the way it deserved, and reading this honestly filled in a big gap of what my frustrated feelings felt were missing (one day i will make a whole analysis about how i feel like she kinda focused on the wrong things during the whole last book but that's a complaint for another day lol.) sorry for the ramble it's like 2 am for me but i really enjoyed the action in this fic and even the bits of humor like ron excitedly telling a death eater that harry is alive and then stunning him and the ruthless desperation that everyone fought with just felt so honest. also as a ron stan i appreciate him being tactical and that moment where he wanted to kill greybeck but couldn't use the killing curse bc that's not who he is, but he still managed to find a creative way to deal with him it just felt incredibly in character. that moment felt almost like a representation of a big part of who Ron Weasley is. thank you for writing and sharing!

I agree about the battle, it was well written but I would have loved some more "actual" fight, if that makes sense.
And that moment with the killing curse just came so naturally to me while writing, I knew it couldn't have happened any other way, I am glad you share the same view
