      you’re wrong about a lot of things, so i would recommend re-reading the chapter before leaving these kinds of comments. 1) in the beginning of the story, pepper introduced peter as HER child as well. 2) this was not based on me or my life at all, and it’s a bit weird to make those assumptions in the first place. 3) the ending is a callback to the beginning of the story, it implies they’re all going on a family vacation WITHOUT peppers parents being involved. 4) they’re not divided. if i was a parent and my mother was saying horrible things to my adopted child, i wouldn’t want her near any of my kids. yeah, peppers upset that maybe morgan and pete don’t get grandparents, but i think she’s more happy that they’re away from that environment. 5) peter didn’t tell tony anything, that was one of the main points in the whole story. what was he supposed to do?

      lastly, you can say you didn’t enjoy the ending without insulting the author in the process. i was struggling with this one, i acknowledged that in the end notes, and you still chose to make the decision to comment something rude. if this is how you give constructive criticism, i would rethink your approach. not only have you offended me, but you’ve probably made others insecure to put out their own work because of this response. i would like all my readers to be respectful not only to me and my work, but to other readers as well. if you can’t be decent, then i would not like to have you as a reader on my page. there are other works you can read on this platform and i would be happy to recommend some.

              Well. I was mistaken. Not a civil debate at all. The way you just trash others- it makes me more angry than ooc pepper because at least she’s a fictional jerk, you’re just a mean person irl.

              There is such an astounding difference from constructive criticism and pure hate. What you have done definitely falls into the latter category.

      Hm. You have some points that are true, props to you for that. I don’t agree on most of those points, but everyone takes things in their own perspective.

      Also, I was never “offended”, I was taken aback at your wording, specifically when you called the ending stupid. I can semi understand where you’re coming from after you explained it more, and while I may not agree with it, you are 100% entitled to your own opinion!

      One thing though- about how Pepper’s apology wasn’t “implied”… in my perspective it was. Tony literally stated that she was going to come back and “make things right” I believe he said. It’s not his opinion, it’s fact, and that is what she is going to do. That’s how I took that line.

      And how Peter and Tony are their own family and Pepper, Morgan and Tony are their own… Morgan called Peter her brother. And what you said about how Tony did feel like that with the whole “peter and Tony going on a vacation”, my take on that was after the whole crapshow they just put themself through, especially peter, I can totally understand how Tony would want a vacation with just him and his son, giving him his full attention. It doesn’t mean he loves Morgan any less, or that he views him as a different family that Morgan, just that one of his children needs that concentrated support at the given moment.

      I honestly hated ooc Pepper in this. She totally didn’t view Peter as her own son, especially with the way she prioritized Morgan over him. Gah, it made me so angry, but that was the writers intention. I will respect your opinion, yes. But don’t think for once that I will respect the way you treat others.

          please i’m begging you to stop commenting or i will start deleting them. knowing that you just turned 13 makes everything so much worse. i don’t need a child telling me how to live my adult life or if subjects are “touchy” regarding things that are personal to me. also, speaking your mind and being rude are two completely different things. if there’s another reply i will start deleting them. the real world involves admitting when you’re wrong and apologizing. if i see you on another one of my works i will start deleting those too. please learn how to respect boundaries
