    I personally head canon that in this universe Mildred is a stay at home mom! I touch on it super briefly in passed down like folk songs but haven't really elaborated beyond that. I just really love the idea of Mildred, who spent so much of her life busy and running and exhausted, getting to rest and be cozy and spend her days doing sweet little domestic things and taking care of the people she loves. (working moms are also fabulous! My own mom has been a working mom my whole life! And I fully plan to be a working mom because I already know that I would be so unhappy if I didn't work. It's just not what I envision for Mildred here.)

    I'd actually already given some thought to a fic where Emily gets her first partner (have not decided what their gender will be yet), so would LOVE to write that for you! The one where she gets into a fight with her moms and they have to navigate it is also a really good prompt, so I shall add it to the ever-expanding list.
