    YES YES YES YES YES YES YES SNEKSKSOSN I LOVE THIS OMG ITS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT I LOVE IT SO MUCH PLEASE THIS IS AMAZING Emily’s so brave and determined and protective of her moms we LOVE to see it. Fkrkdbrrkrjrjrj Mildred DEMANDING to see her daughter immediately and being terrified of ANYTHING happening to her I LOVE IT SO MUch And gwen soft and patient and loving and understanding as always, she’s just perfect. My favourite line is:

    “What?” Gwendolyn asks warily, not quite angry, yet not quite ready to forgive, either.“

    that was just so intuitive and insightful and thoughtful and accurate and AMAZING I LOVE IT thats an incredible line WOW

    Also I hate Jane so much I GASPED when she called them whores and I knew Emily was gonna give it to her but I was SO READY to beat up a fictional 13yro punk

    question is Mildred working as a nurse somewhere or is she stay at home, I’m just curious it’s not important lol

It’s super super super CLICHE but um Emily going to collage PLEASE like the going away and moving into to dorms but maybe if u can also the choosing school and deciding what her dream is and the little moments with Mildred and Gwen so proud of her but also a little devastated their baby’s leaving them ya know THE WORKS

    OMG ALSO Emily’s first relationship or first serious relationship and I wanna see Mildred and Gwen deal with that lol

    Also this not really a prompt but like I wanna see more of ur writing of Trevor and Anna and maybe even some Andrew, I just love how u build and elaborate on characters and how everyone’s chemistry in ur writing always matches and is consistent)

      oh wow thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it and that it lived up to what you were hoping for when you requested it 🥰✨

      I personally head canon that in this universe Mildred is a stay at home mom! I touch on it super briefly in passed down like folk songs but haven't really elaborated beyond that. I just really love the idea of Mildred, who spent so much of her life busy and running and exhausted, getting to rest and be cozy and spend her days doing sweet little domestic things and taking care of the people she loves. (working moms are also fabulous! My own mom has been a working mom my whole life! And I fully plan to be a working mom because I already know that I would be so unhappy if I didn't work. It's just not what I envision for Mildred here.)

      I'd actually already given some thought to a fic where Emily gets her first partner (have not decided what their gender will be yet), so would LOVE to write that for you! The one where she gets into a fight with her moms and they have to navigate it is also a really good prompt, so I shall add it to the ever-expanding list.
