Comment on Protocol SOTERIA

  1. Oh my God thank you so much! Oh yeah, the research was...a lot. But also super fun! (Lovechild of S&D and AP Gov, like I said) I actually started watching UN live streams in my Cold War class back in May instead of doing my work. I totally agree, the movie was very focused on how the Accords would affect the Avengers and not on how the Accords would affect the world. To me the Accords were all about an holistic approach to a global issue, something that Avengers could never accomplish without a simple chain of command. Take Lagos for example: the Avengers had plenty of time to inform the Nigerian government of Hydra's presence in their country and the Nigerian...I dunno, Special Ops Force or something, could have dealt with it before they ever even reached the research center. I am sympathetic towards Steve, I really am, because I see where he's coming from. I think all of his actions stem from one major flaw: his lack of knowledge about global politics and foreign policy. Anytime he enters a country they could label him as a terrorist. He could start WWIII by just stepping off a plane. I love the guy, but he needs to do some research of his own. I do really hope to write a sequel (just gotta figure out what the hell it'll be about and where the hell Tony is 'cause spoiler alert: I don't even know) and I know if I do a lot of it will be focused around one single line that Wanda said "None of this had ever been about them, had it?" You can expect a lot of anger from Peter, due to the fact that he's the only one of them to every really be a civilian during all of this superhero shit. He's got...he's got a lot to say. Prepare yourself.

    1. I feel like ross snatched tony up & handed him over to like hydra just to be a dick. or loki snatched him to up & kept him to make future plans or weapons about/against thanos. just as a thought.
