He plops down on the couch again, sets his elbows on his knees, and looks Eddie in the eye. “Okay. Soooo,” he says. “You’re asking me to marry you.”

Eddie’s nose scrunches. “Ye-ep. Just about covers it.”
“Why?”

Out of nowhere, Eddie asks Buck to friend-marry him, Buck thinks it's a dream first but it's realty. Eddie explains that it just makes sense, they want the same thing, it's easier for Chris and in the future, if they want more kids they can. Buck says yes.
They explain it to everyone as a domestic partnership. The team and Maddie are VERY not convinced. Maddie and Bobby even try to talk to Buck about it, but Buck says that if it's all Eddie is willing to give him, then it's enough.
They start preparing the wedding. One day they try different cakes and Eddie puts a lot pressure on it, Buck snaps saying it doesn't matter since it's just a domestic partnership and not a real marriage and Eddie is hurt by that. Buck apologized in the car and explains that the cake doesn't matter, the wedding will be perfect because it's them. As he's saying this, Buck puts his hand on Eddie's arm and he shivers. Buck recognizes that reaction as want. Eddie wants him. Buck assumes Eddie doesn't really loves, that he just wants sex and Buck is happy with what he can get.
He then starts to fluster Eddie as much as he can for the next week. He dresses slutty, he touches Eddie all the time... It clearly has an effect but Eddie doesn't do anything about it.
The day when they try their wedding costumes, they both flirts with each other.
Then the wedding happens. Buck is stressed, and a bit sad. Booby reassures him that marriage is scarry but Eddie and him are gonna pull through together. When Buck makes his vows, he tells Eddie how much he means to him and he says 'I love you' and he means it. And Eddie understands it. He then yanks Buck to him to kiss him. When Eddie makes his vows he says 'I love you' too.
They literally can't separate during the night and everyone is happy for them to finally have it figure it out. When they're back home fuck for the first time. -

then they go crazy, bc Buck doesn't want to make anything a big deal bc he thinks it's not REAL, while Eddie wants to make sure everything is PERFECT bc even if it's not real, Buck deserves the BEST wedding and he wants at least one wedding where he's actually involved in the planning
then they kiss before their vows, get married, have their wedding night and fist bump after sex
