Summary
The Second British Wizarding War didn’t end with the Battle of Hogwarts. Almost three years later the Order of the Phoenix, stretched more and more thinly, is still fighting the Death Eaters, and Harry, Ron and Hermione still need to destroy the Ravenclaw Diadem and kill Nagini in order for Voldemort to be mortal again.
When Hermione is critically wounded in a skirmish with Death Eaters, she ends up in the hands of an unlikely healer, who demands asylum with the Order of the Phoenix - in exchange for saving the life of the brightest witch of her age and for some inside Death Eater knowledge.
The Order soon learns that they got more than they bargained for with sheltering Draco Malfoy, and Hermione, who is tasked with keeping an eye on their newest asset while recovering from the injury that almost killed her, builds a delicate truce with the man who might just win their side the war.
