(Sometimes Ronald wondered where his human rights were, but Draluc would just say vampires weren’t human to begin with and therefore have no lawful rights. He would know. His mother was a lawyer.)
Nonetheless, every day was fun. Ronald had never been bored and there was always something to get busy with, so much that Ronald could write several novels about his experience.
Although, he would never admit all of that out loud even if the damned old man dug his heart out with a silver spoon.
Ronald wasn't ungrateful though, and he hated the idea of owing someone a debt, even if technically, he was part of the job (which Ronald suspected was another form of torture from the higher ups. It seemed like upper management hated Draluc’s guts.) So, Ronald wracked his brains for anything to do. Surely, there was something in his ability to be less of a nuisance.
“How about you don’t topple whole avenues when you fight vampires?” Shot suggested.
“No, that’s impossible.”
“Wow, he immediately shut it down.”
“He won’t even give it a shot.”

Shiwoo finally steps into his room. He circles the desk from the other side and stops when the guy lifts his head to look at him. His hair is the same dark shade as the majority of the Zen’in, but his eyes are like shattered emeralds, sharp and shining like they’re refracting light from a dozen different points. There’s a pale, vertical scar at the right corner of his mouth.
He plucks one of the books off the table and waves it in Shiwoo’s face. “Why are you going through the weapons’ inventory and records?”
“For the job,” Shiwoo tells him. Frowns, then, “Why aren’t you picking up the dishes?”

cool how megumi n nobara's experiences of yuuji's "death" r kinda opposite; megumi retains a very tangible part of yuuji that he feels guilty for having, while nobara is left with very little of yuuji and grapples with his lack of presence.

So it’s not exactly a shock when he opens his mouth, blue eyes sparkling from behind dark sunglasses (and it’s odd that he’s chosen to wear his glasses here instead of his blindfold; odd to know that Six Eyes trusts him in some weird, skewed way for the simple fact that they both care for a child who deserves more than Toji can give him) and says: “I want you to teach at Jujutsu Tech.”
It’s not a shock, because Gojo has said more ridiculous things with a straighter face than the one that resides on his features now. Toji throws his head back and laughs.
Gojo does not.
