Summary
Mithrun's desires were slow to return. It would take years upon years of work for them to begin to fully emerge from the shell the demon left behind. But when they managed to release one, it was as though they were determined to drown themselves in it. Once Mithrun tried their first bowl of soba they refused to eat anything else for months, only to then lose the fascination and return to a mundane diet. Sometimes Kabru worried if all their desires will be this fleeting, but he wasn't given much time to ponder on it.
Kabru had found himself once again shoved with his back against the bed, Mithrun sat firmly in his lap.

Summary
He hated the feeling of it, the burning in his gut. He wouldn't do anything about it, and leave himself pent up and aching for days. The Canaries remarking amongst themselves that he was shorter than usual, quick to anger, less careful with himself. This would continue until one of them took it upon themselves to "help". Lycion was the most common.
Sometimes Mithrun would wonder why him, suppose the wolf-man felt a comradery between them. Two broken men. However, he couldn't lie and say he didn't enjoy the way Lycion could break him.

Summary
Experimentation led them to where they are now, Mithrun laid out on a bunk, Cithis carefully wrapping him in rope. He found the tight sensation strangely comforting, tugging him into a quieter place, somewhere the crashing waves quieted into the gentle lapping of water. Mithrun could recall the first time she'd attempted binding his wrists, the sing-song of her laughter when she realised the effect it had on him. Mithrun didn't exactly ask her to keep doing it, he would, technically, be fine without this. But that didn't mean he was upset that she continued either. It was a breath of calm, however.. unconventional.

The sick part is that stupid, earnest Yagami Light, who pinky-promised he wasn’t Kira and just wanted to get to the bottom of this oh-so-terrible situation, hadn’t thought to weaponize that particular tool at all. At all!
The end of L's life is rapidly approaching. Light is going to make him pay for all of the embarrassingly sweet and willing sex he's been handing over for the past three months. In spades.
