Bakugou Katsuki had never imagined his life would turned out this way.
Katsuki’s not even in the fucking top 10 of hero ranking, he spent every fucking dime he earned for the past 8 fucking years to get that hero suit for Izuku only for that stupid nerd to reject Katsuki’s invitation (“’S not a fucking proposal!”) of joining his agency, his dream of competing with Izuku for the rest of his life has gone to fucking drain, and now he’s fucking dying because of some stupid villain’s quirk that requires him to confess his fucking feelings to the person he loves to break that stupid fucking quirk on him.
No fucking way. FUCK THAT SHIT. Katsuki rather die than confess his feelings to his nerd, to his Izuku.
Or,
Katsuki was hit with a deadly hanahaki quirk. Knowing who he loves will never loves him back, Katsuki prepares himself for death. He was informed of all the symptoms and so he waited. He waited and waited, but it never came.

Summary
The path below Izuku feet was slowly becoming more and more prominent over the years. The years of him sneaking out just to feel normal for once. The few times in his life where he got to feel like he could just be Midoriya, be true to who he was.
He looked back over his shoulder back to the stone wall he left every other night, remembering that at the end of the day, he would always return to the palace. And once again having to become the Prince of Aldera. The path behind him was not just one he used to leave his responsibilities, but also the one he must walk back on to return to them.
A drag path etched into the ground of the world as permanent evidence that he would never get to be free. His role now forever imprinted into the surface.
