Summary
“Lady…” Tommy’s voice trembles. “Lady Prime, I have—” I have sinned, my lady forgive me please, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to be a monster. “I have sinned!” he gasps out, head spinning from his confession.
Lady Prime doesn’t respond. Tommy’s body begins to tremble again, and he dips his head even lower and his hair almost gets stained by the wet dirt of the ground.
“Please, Prime. Send me a sign, anything, I— I need to pay for my actions, how do I—” His knees dig into the ground, and silent tears begin to stream down his face in desperation. How do I become human again, how do I stop being a monster?

Summary
She pulls him up from the edge of the tall building, shoving him to the concrete ground. He breathes heavily, catching his breath, his adrenaline levels coming down. She stands in front of him, her steady eyes watching him as he gets up, bruised and battered from their fight. She knows he won't make a move (for now at least), he's got more to lose than she does.
“...Thank you.” he finally says, staring at her for a moment after collecting himself, seeming to want to say more.
“Make sure I made the right choice, Soleil.” she chooses to say, her voice is firm, and he looks uncertain, but nods timidly, getting up.

The flowers slowly thrive and grow, rising from the earth as if they are ghosts leaving their graves. The earth hums a little tune, and Tommy can feel the light graze of the leaves and flowers touching him, and the grass growing tickling his legs. A faint fragrance of the flowers rises in the air, he can almost taste it, sitting on his tongue in an oddly comforting way.

He really hates newcomers, but he needs someone to help him out. He can’t work at the cafe all by himself, as much as he wishes he could. Unfortunately, the human body isn’t built to be able to handle that much work, which he thinks is absolute bullshit. But it’s either he sells the shop or gets a person to help out for a crappy minimum wage. And he’d never sell the shop, no matter what. It’s the shop before him, no matter the cost.

Katsuki maintains there is no gap between him and the Izuku that just arrived at his doorstep, a year since he last saw him, right up until the moment Izuku picks him up like a bag of groceries, and then all bets (and his dignity) are off.
“It’s physiological,” Katsuki says, and his voice splinters on every other syllable. “It’s reflex, it doesn’t mean—”
Izuku lowers himself, his chest pressing against Katsuki’s, the weight of him settling over Katsuki’s body in that total encompassing way, and he kisses the corner of Katsuki’s eye where the wetness gathers, his lips gentle and warm, and Katsuki makes a sound he will deny until he dies, something small and wrecked that lives in the space between his teeth.
“You rode a pillow for a year,” Izuku says against his temple, and his voice is raw and awed and reverent and doing something terrible to Katsuki’s composure, “because nothing else could make you come. And now you’re crying because I’m inside you.”
“I will end your career.”

Shirabu scowls. “How am I supposed to be happy about being insulted through flowers?” He’s gripping onto the stems of the… horseshoe geraniums (apparently) with enough force to crush their poor leaves into paste. “That I’m being mocked?”
“It’s probably just a misunderstanding—”
“Misunderstanding?” Shirabu echoes, tone incredulous. “That this person just happened to send me flowers all with rude meanings? How can that happen accidentally?”
Semi’s trying to figure that out too, actually.

They're so much more than that and they both know it. You can't throw away a decades worth of friendship and hatred and joy and heartache away in a single movement.
They knew each other. They know each other now.
But the difference between now and then is that today, instead of going home together, they will go their separate ways.
