Moan2 is many things all at once; Gotham's hottest new party drug, an awful scourge that Dick and his family can't seem to stem, and an unassuming pill that strips its user of all free will and autonomy. Dick knows intimately just how dangerous this pill is, but it doesn't matter how much he tries or how hard he works, he just can't solve this case.
As more users become hooked, more dealers turn up dead and more people disappear from clubs never to be seen again, Dick feels his desperation grow. He'll do anything to solve this case. He'll give everything to save all of those people. He'll give it all.

Summary
Ra’s al Ghul’s failed experiments left scars the Batfamily can’t hide. Jason lost his hearing. Dick lost his voice. Tim lost his sight. Damian was paralyzed before he was even born. Adopted by Bruce Wayne, innovative technology keeps them in the field, but it can’t shield them from stigma, or from their own demons.
Jason believes family is all they need. His overprotectiveness clashes with Dick, who wears the mask in public, using his silence to distract the world from the truth about his brothers. Tim and Damian, meanwhile, are desperate to prove they’re more than fragile pieces of a broken team.
But when Ra’s returns and the past resurfaces, the fragile balance shatters. Secrets unravel, trust fractures, and each brother must confront what it means to be broken, to be enough, and, despite everything, to still be a family.

Traught, whelmed, and feeling the aster, he’d said. Well she wasn’t feeling any of those things right now. In fact, she was rather distraught, overwhelmed, and definitely feeling the disaster. Heavy on the dis, as she felt a rib crack under her hands.
She’d seen him still and silent before, he was a Bat, contrary to popular opinion, Nightwing excelled at still and silent- when he wanted to. But this- this was wrong. The wrong kind of still, the wrong kind of silent. His face was twisted in a grimace even in his unconscious state. She refused to think of him as clinically dead at the moment.
The X-Pit had consequences if you weren’t a meta. Most of them had gotten to avoid them, thanks to Halo, but Nightwing had still been recovering. And now… they weren’t sure he would.Note that Comment Moderation has been enabled due to an influx of bot comments and “offers” for art. I’m not interested in commissioning art based on this fic, if advertising yourself is your only reason for commenting, don’t. I still love and appreciate ALL other comments, even the ones that are just emojis.
