Summary
Later, they live out a whole new life as normal students and then normal members of society, and nothing bad at all happens. But they haven't escaped the shadow of their previous life: Joonghyuk tries to play e-sports seriously this time, Dokja works in a marginally better office, Sooyoung writes webnovels with unsurprising success. Every day they distance themselves from other people, too conscious of the world they left behind and the scars it left on them, and they don't live together again but oh, how they want to.
Later, Dokja's father ends up disappearing without a trace, much neater than the first time around.
Later, inevitably, they die again, one by one, but right now—
Joonghyuk grips Dokja's pale wrist in a rundown playground, firm with the strength of his conviction, and at last, Dokja gives him a smile.
Or, our luckless trio find themselves stuck in a cycle of reincarnation, and learn to live with it (and also each other).

Will moves back to an upright position, wiping his hair out of his eyes, head and shoulders peeking above the water. “Mike,” he says, pulling Mike up with him, their fingers still intertwined.
“Yeah?” Mike says, tilting his head so the water trickles out of his ears, wincing slightly. “What is it?”
Will’s eyes dart back and forth between his, and then Mike feels his hand squeeze his own. “I don’t want you to, like, think I moved back for you,” he starts, which in and of itself would be enough to get Mike’s soul soaring straight out of his own body, if it weren’t for Will’s thumb pressed against his pulse point like some kind of mortal tether. “Because it’s not like that, I promise. But I think– I think I realized there’s a difference between things you want and things you need, you know?”

Summary
The final classes came to an end swifter than they had started, ending a chapter for many of the Grove students as they stepped out of Professor Anaxagoras' class. However, some students leave more confused than when they first enrolled in the school of knowledge. Anaxa noticed how Hyacine's post-graduate essay didn't quite mirror the speech she proudly announced about her future just a week prior, and so he called her over for a discussion.
