    Loki was quiet for a moment longer, something shifted in his expression, "You're very strange," he said finally. "For a SHIELD agent."

    "I get that a lot." A smile playing on his face as he held Loki's gaze. "Do we have a deal?"

    Loki looked from Mobius to the reinforced glass between them, then down at the cuffs locked around his wrists. When his gaze returned, there was something colder and brighter in it than before.

    “Temporary freedom,” he said slowly. “And in return, I help you hunt a murderer.”

    “That’s the shape of it.”

    Loki’s mouth curved into a dangerous smile. “Then I suppose we should discuss the conditions.”

    What if Thanos never ambushed and invaded the Asgardian ship and they made it safely to Midgard?
