Boomie sighed—a long, put-upon sound, the kind they usually reserved for finding someone else's mess in the shared spaces—and held out his arms, somewhat stiffly, somewhat like he wasn't entirely sure this was a good idea even as he was doing it.
"...C'mere," he muttered, not quite meeting Galaxy's eye.
Galaxy blinked. For a second he just stood there, like he wasn't sure he'd heard right, like the offer might evaporate if he looked at it too directly.
And then he moved—fast, faster than they expected, crossing the small distance between them and all but collapsing into the hug, face immediately burying itself into the long, untied fall of Boomie's pink hair.

He considered Boomie's expression, which had cycled briefly through several things and landed on something that was trying very hard to be neutral. He considered the dried velvet. He considered the fact that he had been watching this quietly for weeks and had chosen not to prod, and that Boomie had clearly been handling it entirely alone out of some combination of pride and a refusal to ask for anything from anyone, which was honestly, a very Boomie thing to do, from what he'd learned of the other so far.
"I can help." Stormz offered.
Boomie's expression shifted. "No."
"It's not a big—”
"It's a lowly task." The phrase came out automatically, as though it had been retrieved from a very deep-seated system of opinions about what was and wasn't appropriate. "You're not—you shouldn't have to do something like that. It's not your concern."
"It's my base," Stormz stated, calmly. "And you're my apprentice."

Yuuji is curled in Sukuna's lap.
That is the fact of it, stripped of everything else: he is curled in Sukuna's lap, knees drawn up, face pressed into the King's chest, and the whole of him has been folded into the smallest shape he can manage—like if he just gets small enough, takes up just enough space that the decision to allow it costs nothing, then maybe it won't be taken away.
It hasn't been taken away.
That's the thing he keeps returning to. Every thirty seconds or so, some part of him surfaces long enough to check—still here, still allowed, still not removed—and then sinks back down. The checking is exhausting, but the alternative is not checking, and not checking requires a kind of trust he's still building the architecture for.
He pressed his face harder into Sukuna's chest and exhaled.

Bill has spent thousands of years in the Theraprism and only seems to be getting worse. The Axolotl decides that the only way Bill can be redeemed is to spend time with those he has wronged. Bill thinks he would have rather stayed dead.

The Duchess Approves is terrible. He wants to bleach every brick of his body just to purify himself of this three hour experience. He wants to pluck out his eyeball and treat it to a ten-day spa as reparations. He demands a sequel from the Axolotl during their next therapy session.
The Axolotl tilts their head. “There's no sequel. Only one movie has ever been made.”
Bill glowers. “But what happens after?”
“Production went into debt after casting big name Grampton St. Rumpterfrabble,” the Axolotl answers sadly. “Rumor has it he charges fifty thousand per letter.”
“Wonderful,” Bill drawls. “Real useful information. So what am I supposed to do now, doc?”
The Axolotl’s eyes gleam suspiciously. “I suppose there’s always fanfiction.”
Or: Bill hates a certain fanfic author almost as much as he hates the man who killed him. Crazy, wouldn't it be, if the two were the same person.

On top of that, despite the far too many long years of therapy he's gone through by now, he's still mentally extremely unstable. Hopefully, that doesn't effect him down the road. What will? Trying to survive living in this shack without getting killed, or worse, coerced into talking about his disgusting 'feelings' with a certain kid who keeps following him around.
