All of it endlessly delightful.

There was no reply. Only Hannibal’s rapt attention, searching, piercing, waiting for the continuation; a cat content with idly tormenting the mouse.
Will forced his eyes from the prisoner’s uniform collar to glittering eyes. “Am I to be your last one?”

Summary
Habitually, Hannibal keeps his steps quiet as he makes his way to Will’s upper floor. It’s probably nothing out of the ordinary that has kept Will from making their morning session (not a session, a conversation). Still, it’s best to know for certain.
Or: Will starts missing his appointments. Hannibal is happy to investigate why.
Can be read as a canon-insert. A quite sweet and kink-flavoured getting together story.

Summary
Sleeping together had seemed like the practical thing to do. They had both sustained several severe injuries from the fall, and it was reasonable to maintain close proximity, lest one of them required immediate attention. It hardly registered to Will as anything but a situation born of necessity. And he could at least admit to himself that he preferred having Hannibal nearby, at any rate, though he didn’t analyze the various reasons as to why. He couldn’t allow himself. By the time they had recovered from their injuries, it didn’t seem to occur to either of them to do anything else.
